This module is devoted to the study of Argumentation, it is focused both on theoretical issues related to rationality and discourse, and on the practical area of cultural criticism and intermediation, paying special attention to conflict resolution through rational discourse. Students will be provided with research training to be able to analyse and make critical reports on arguments, while at the same time acquiring knowledge applicable to natural language processing and automatic translation, as well as the relevant skills to contribute to the rational approach to conflicts and social mediation.
